COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Science 8 is a course that covers the four major areas of geoscience: geology, astronomy, meteorology, and oceanography. Major topics of study will include Earth’s composition and structure, plate tectonics, the rock cycle, geological history, weather, climate, the oceans, and astronomy.

GRADING:
Grades will be based on the following types of assignments. Percentages are approximate and may vary slightly from one unit to the next.
